The U.S. made 7,969 requests for users' Gmail and other Google data in the first six months of 2012.

  • The U.S Government has been asking people to access their personal information on gmail.
  • Government surveillance is on the rise.
  • Google stores huge amounts of private information from accounts.
  • The Government going on people's Google accounts is a bi- annual search to let people know that they are involved.
  • There are times where the Government asks for removal of certain information or videos.
  • The reason for that is defamation.
  • Outdated laws have found loopholes for the Government to be able to request your account information.
  • This allows them to conduct electronic surveillance without warrants.
